They had one of these at the Science Museum when I was a kid. Just after electricity was discovered.

Am I a misery nuts for thinking this will give around 5 minutes of entertainment but once everyone has had a go it will end up under the bed, on a shelf, in the garage and ultimately on the tip.
My kids have endless amounts of this rubbish and it grieves me that year after year I make countless tip trips to dump these type of presents.

Should stocking filler really say tip filler?

For those who dont like the USB connection, they do usb to mains plug adapters for peanuts. I picked one up in pc world for 97p last week.

Just be careful where you put it, a clumsy family member knocked mine over and it shattered into hundreds of pieces.

Loads still instore.

Got one for me and one for a friend. Not tried it out yet. But I have always loved these plasma balls and it will start up with my PC everytime now. A fantastic little stocking filler.
