I'm getting back £59 for 29-30th June for 2 adults staying 1 night. I get the same for any Sunday night stay?

Am I missing something?

Dunno where on their site you're looking, but i can't find any dates, including june at that price. Lowest is £59.

I have a £29 room available for anyone who wants it - I reserved (and paid) amongst the mania of the earlier promotion but my girlfriend is on nights, so can't go.

Date = 4th March.

Price = £29

PM me if interested. I have checked with Hotel, it is totally acceptable, I simply give you the confirmation code (I have paid for it already on my card, once you have bought you can call Hotel yourself to confirm details etc for peace of mind, although I will forward my email anyway).

I'm afraid you can't sell to someone else, it's in their Terms & Conditions. The person who booked has to use the room, they'll check your card upon arrival.

Hrm, i'd be sceptical about that due to this line in their terms and conditions...

" Please bring this confirmation number with you, together with proof of your identity, when you check in. The person named in a booking must be the person who actually will be staying"

Yes I hope so too!

pspr33, Frank Booth and Voucherprincess, you have all succombed to the grumpy, grumpy, numpty ridiculous irrationality that these boards are plagued with.

As I mentioned in my post, I HAVE CHECKED with the hotel and they SAY ITS FINE. So despite being addicted to reading your Ts&Cs trying to refute everything under the sun, this is perfectly legit.

And why 'hope so too'? I'm merely offering the opportunity to someone else who might want it, so it doesnt go to waste.

Oh dear, have you got blob strop?

I only mentioned it because I too have booked a £29 room which I will be unable to use for the same reason as yourself (wife can't get time off work). I also thought of selling it on and that was the reason for checking the T&C. I'll be quite happy if you are correct.

Frank
Once you have stopped using your oxygen and beating up Issabella, call them yourself and ask - they only want the confirmation number (as you have already paid for the room on your card). I also asked "what if the people I give my confirmation number too go wild in the restaurant - will that be charged on my card?" and they happily reassured "of course not - anything extra is paid for by whoever uses the confirmation number.

What date was your room for? Perhaps we could swap?

Sorry rabbitmoon my reply was to RickyBobby. Iam new to this site joined today in fact.
No offence meant realised too late how it looked and tried to correct my reply and add that it was meant for RickyBobby ; but was unable to. Best of luck to you and hope you manage to pass on this good deal to someone out there!
#24
Bless you Voucherprincess, now I feel like I did have a blob strop on (whatever that is, I'm quoting Frank)

Welcome to the boards, I hope you find some splendid bargains!
#25
Lol at all the confusion! :p
#26
I got my room for £1 and have booked dinner at the Boxwood to celebrate

I have generally found this to be areally good hotel and am going down again on Sunday. If you book about two-three months in advance, you can get rooms on a Sunday for £30, which is really good value - just annoyed I forgot about the £1 sale!!!!!
