Voted hot and also booked for the 5th, might see you there ;-).
If booking 2 nights the price goes up to £54, 3 nights cost £79, and the price continues to rise the longer you stay. So the price only applies for one nights stay.

This is excellent does anyone know whether it within walking distance of the strand, or would it mean a taxi?

When you say "walking distance", I presume you mean within 20mins or so? If so, then no it's not walking distance - you'd need a cab or bus/tube. The area the hotel is in is well served by both.
#10
Went for 1 night november just gone, nearest tube is 3-5 mins walk (Old Street). Very nice hotel, flat screen tv, very good shower, bed etc all good. Prices at the ground floor grille resturant are steep and better food can be had elsewhere imo.
#11
there was £1 a room wasnt there for this hotel
#12
I went there last January with my girlfriend for her birthday for 3 nights. I paid more than that but still got it on an offer!
You get a bag of breakfast in the morning with a banana, yoghurt/cereal thing, and an orange juice.
It is within walking of Hoxton Tube station, but i cannot remember what line that is on.... and also within 5 minutes walking distance of Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen, which is well worth a visit, but you would have to book it in advance like now!
#13
Friends have stayed there and said its excellent, I booked for the 5th as its my Birthday the Saturday before. Even though the original listing said it was Bank Holiday it went completely over my head! Excellent deal. Made this hot, am new here but I guess thats what I need to do?! See you all for the party in YOUR room Reef ;)
#14
And btw, Hoxton Station hasn't even been built yet! But when it is it will be on the East London Line. Nearest Tube station is actually Old Street on the Northern Line, or alternately Liverpool St on the Central Line.

And how exactly do I make something hot? Noob! I'll read up from home when I get there but not sure if I made hotter or not!?!
#15
Hoxtons a great place for clubs, pubs and restaurants, near Old Street station and Liverpool Street Station.
#16
I can fully recomend the "Legion bar" on Old Street, went there a week or so before christmas with some friends and had a really good night, was nice and cheap as they do Happy hour till 8pm, cocktails were 2 for 1 and a 4 pint jug of Stella was only a £10!!!!
great prices for central, I might even have to book one of these rooms just to come to the party, could make it in to a HUKD pi55 up :)

Thanks for the reply a great help

this is a superb deal, thanks op. I have stayed there before, very comfortable and there are a few cool clubs around. Also within walking distance of the tube.
#19
The hotel is in an excellent location, loads of bars and clubs. Not far from the west end at all. Loads of buses too.
Yeah there was a £1 offer, problem was not 1 could book as their system could not cope lol
#20
Doesn't seem to be showing the £30 price just the £79 or £99 prices, am I missing something or is the price dicounted when you book???
#21
I think that's because everyone has taken the single rooms maybe? Double room costs 79 quid on the dates selected :)

There is no HOXTON tube station , the nearest Tube Station is OLD STREET which is on the Northern Line !!

Am a bit lost here:-) £30 for one night, £54 for 2 nights and £79 for 3 nights means the price is dropping not rising (per night pro rata). Am I missing something?
#31

This place is not far on the bus. Cheap and good food and you can bring your own drinks, you may have to book or wait as it does get busy.

1st night -£30
2nd night - £54 etc

The only thing thats puts me off is the breakfast in a bag ! One of the best parts of a nice hotel break is a good breakfast buffet in the morning.

....... as far as I can make out the price is per room per night. Only certain dates are priced at £30, and if u book other days then it' s more expensive i.e they are only giving away one days stays at the discounted price. Try to book 2 or more nights then the price goes up to £54 or even £79 per room per night.
#36
Thanks Guys, just got another date in March on Bank Holiday Mon 24th March
#37
Thanks,

Just booked mine for 30 notes 20th April...looks great I cant wait.

Thanks Again
#38
Me too, thank you Reef :) they obviously havent sent out a mass email as they usually do, maybe thats just the £1 days.

Sorry to usurp the fish and chip advice, but it's cos u said Kingsland Road. If Fish & Chips flat yer boat then you will never in a million years beat Faulkners. Expensive (in my book) for fish and chips (£13.00 for cod and chips if you choose to eat in, have never taken out but I think it's sensible) but worth every damn penny!

Hi,
To save you all doing what I did earlier here are all the dates with £30 Rooms Per/Night availability between now and the end of May:

March: Monday 24th / Sunday 30th

April: Sunday 6th / Sunday 20th / Sunday 27th

May: Sunday 11th / Sunday 18th

Prices are Room Only based on Doubles.

IMPORTANT: Families - If you have kids under 12 they can stay in the room at no extra charge and the hotel will provide cot / extra bed. DO NOT select additonal children when you book the hotel I.E: Say 2 adults only or the online booking system will force you to have 2 rooms. Once you have made the booking you contact the hotel directly (& can put in the comments box when you book online) to confirm you will be staying with children and you need additional cot / bed in the room which they will provide at no extra charge so still £30! I think they limit it to1 cot / bed.

Regards:)

Thanks Reef just booked a room too. Seems as if most of the £30 rooms are for a Sunday night.

PS. There is a 50% discount card available for the Hoxton Grille (can be used at other restaurants too) . Not sure if this is worth another thread, in vouchers maybe?
