HOXTON HOTEL, Next Booking Period... £1.00

Hi There,
When I received my last email re the £1 sale at The Hoxton Hotel, I made a point of putting all the future dates in my Diary....

The next booking period starts at 9.00am on Thursday April 3rd, and you can book rooms for the period 1st May - 30th July.

I presume this as still the case, as i haven't seen anything since. Never actually managed to get a room myself, but know a few people who have, and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Good Luck!

Hoxton Hotel's £1 Room Sale
We also sell 5 rooms each night at a staggeringly low £1 and 5 rooms each night at £29. These rooms are released periodically throughout the year for a three month booking period.

Register on our mailing list to ensure you hear about them before a general release.

You'll need to be quick when trying to book a room for a £1 as during the last sale 1000 rooms were sold in less than 30 minutes.

I'll be there trying to get a room for a pound

Thanks for the find heat added

spent a couple of nights at the Hoxton two weekends back. Second time ive been and wil be trying again for this one. For anyone that ends up staying there I would totally recomend going round the corner to shoreditch (3minute walk from the hotel) and visiting 'The Diner' for an american breakfast (served till 4pm) - that was the tastiest meal I had while I was there (and I didnt cut corners on restaurants).

Has anyone been before? I have a room booked for the end of April from the last sale just wanted to know what its like and good things close by?!
#11
In a word, fantastic. Really friendly check-in staff, great rooms (fabulous showers) and a costcutter across the road...what more could you want :)
When I was down for my £1 room in Feb, we found a restaurant just down the road called 'Home'. Standard London prices and slightly over-attentive waitresses, but nice food. Make sure you make a reservation if you'd like to eat at the Hoxton Grille (the restaurant downstairs)...its very popular.

Just thinking, wouldn't there normally be something on the Hoxton Hotel website this close to the event?

i stayed there on friday in a £29 room from the last promotion.

i think its a great, no nonsense hotel

- free bottled water and fresh milk in your personal firdge
- check out at 12
- light brekky of OJ, banana and yoghurt delivered to your room free
- full breakfasts available downstairs at reasonable prices
- free internet
- 2 minutes walk to Old Street tube on the Northern Line, so you can get anywhere easily

Excellent, looking forward to it now.

Many Thanks for the info.

Yes you would have thought they would have promoted online, last time though they put it back a week from the orginal date. Due to "system problems"

I reckon it'll be 12 noon. But then delayed until about 1:15pm.

But check it out from 9am imo

We've just come back from there, stayed Saturday night - it was great! Second time there and even better than the last as we got quite a big room for the three of us (took our 4 year old)

It was so nice to be able to have a wander round London knowing that we had this to come back to.

God luck on Thurs everyone! :)

Beena couple of times- great place, well worth the bargain price. Agree with the comment about the showers too- they're great and they've got one of those attachments for getting right up the crack of your a**e

does this offer include bank holiday weekends?

They tend to miss fridays and saturdays with the offer. Managed to get the Sunday and Monday night the bank holiday just gone.

Also would recommend booking up at the Hoxton Grille restaurant for one night (if you eat before 7pm you can get a main meal for £7 - i had a gorgous rare steak that was normally twice that price!).

For things to do in the area they have a little map in the top drawer of your room with a decent listing. Some really trendy bars around Hoxton square, a comedy club close by and I wanted to go to Cargo but were charging £12 entrance (wasnt sure what the music was going to be like that evening)

i wish more hotles did these kind of deals.
apart from the travelodge ones ofcourse
#31
We were there last night in fact and were talking about booking it again - paid £29 for Sunday night and £59 for the Saturday deal - excellent value for money! If anyone wants a decent restaurant - head to Viet Grill - a fantastic place to eat - excellent value and loads of choice - about 6 mins walk from the hotel. Rep added and heat - excellent deal ta!

I think I read somewhere that they deliberately alter the time of their sales for the benefit of international customers who may wish to try and book, in order to compensate for time differences.

Just to add to the chorus of positive experiences- this hotel really is fantastic. I (and no doubt everyone in my office) will be logging on Thursday morning.
#34
I got a £1 room in the sale last time and am currently writing this from the room I'd booked. It's a very comfortable room, without compromise. Good luck to everyone trying for the cheap rate next time. The staff here are really friendly and even congratulated me on arrival for achieving the special promotion rate.
#35
so are the £1 rooms going to be midweek? wouldn't mind checking it out, but it would be a struggle to go midweek.

looks good, heat n rep added!

xx

the chances of getting a room is bloody slim, i tried last time, normally their survers can't load all users, and only a very few minorities stand even a chance to get a room. demand is way too high

Got a £29 room last month (a Tuesday night), can only echo what's been said already...friendly staff, great bed and bedding, free wifi, nice little touches like a fold out map/guide to the area, milk and water in your fridge, hairdryer/bottle opener/other stuff in a drawer, free healthy breakfast.

Lots of great pubs in the area like The Old Blue Last, Bricklayer's Arms, Electricity Showrooms and excellent Vietnamese and Indian/Pakistani restaurants within a short walk.

Can the people who have already had a £1 room try again for another one tomorrow?
