Can't go wrong for a cheap backup laptop at this price

Nice deal for a brand new machine. I would probably upgrade the memory though as home 64 with only 2Gb is a bit lacking..

2Gb of random is sufficient.

2 Year Warranty too, BUT I would not buy it due to insufficient RAM, a slow Celeron processor (906 points on http://www.cpubenchmark.net) and reviews on the website saying it is slow.

So what? Your comment is stupid. Many people, like me, just use it for web browsing, etc. Even a ten-year old laptop will do that quite easily.

Why? 2Gb is fine for what a machine like this is for. Why do you people think that a basic specified laptop needs loads of extra money spent on it? Wake up and get real. This is a basic web surfing laptop. No more, no less!

Because Windows 10 uses so much for starters? I have 6GB RAM and over half is currently in use despite just having this website and an email program open. The reviewers on the Costco website complain the laptop is slow. Far better to go for a 4GB+ machine with a faster processor for a few quid more.

Rubbish.

seems like the HP computer from the sainsburys deal which was selling for £99 albeit without the mechanical HDD in this one. Seems hugely overpriced in comparison to that deal.

Agreed you only need 2GB for web browsing BUT Who said i want to use it for just web browsing? i've got a phablet for that as seldom need a proper keyboard for that.

I was looking at a similar HP Stream, it has 2GB ram also running Win 10 and in task manager it was 79% used when idling!

Do not buy this. Wife bought this exact model from Tescos. Very, very slow even for browsing. Cannot upgrade memory as ALL memory is onboard. Click here for another unsatisfied owner.
