Looks lovely but processor is a bit so-so.

These must be grey imports / European models as www.rm.com have a UK exclusive on these.:?
#3
RM do not have an exclusive according to the HP UK website.

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/sm/WF05a/21675-283229-283229-283229-12434618-82025093.html

RM isn't even listed as the only preferred supplier.
Misco is listed mand is cheaper.

4% quidco.

tis strange about the rm exclusivity thing, i definately remember reading about it and last time i checked the hp site they were the only one on it....

And now they arent at all...

wouldnt touch this with a barge pole, * VIA C7®-M ULV Processor Technology
I bought a similar hp with the via cpu a while back may as well of bought an old celeron 500 for all the use it was.

NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER again will i buy anything with a via chip.

Lovely laptop, gets it right in so many ways (1280x768 9" display!), but the VIA C7 is not a performance CPU, and performs worse than the 600MHz Celeron-M in the 7" EeePC. However if it was the follow-up, VIA's Isaiah, then it would be really nice, as that chip would outperform an Intel Atom.

Well as its only about £20 more then the new eee and the spec is much better so seems hot for me. Yes the processor is not great but I have a VIA C7 chip in an old laptop it is a 1.5 rather than the 1.2 in this but was fine for web and office stuff.

this has now dropped in price.
#10
MSI wind just about to be released anyway
#11
£6 quid cheaper lol would need another 200 quid off for me to even consider it:)
