Probably the best built netbook but let down by a weak processor. Ebuyer were doing just the netbook for £190 but those sold out weeks ago. Scan did a one day offer of the vista version for £225 last week. This is the cheapest price for a 2133 I've seen in a month (I've been keeping an eye on the prices and bought one from Scan last week).

HP slip case generally costs £11 (ebuyer) so its not a bad deal.

Having recently bought an NC10 with XP, I am astonished at both the speed of the NC10 with a 2GB RAM upgrade and the battery life!

I personally would not look at any other Netbook apart from the NC10 and it is worth the extra £100 in my opinion.

Going back to XP has made me realise what a pile of junk Vista really is!

I think that spec is wrong. One of the plus points of the 2133 has been its higher screen resolution. I am sure it should read: 'Display: 8.9-inch diagonal WXGA (1280 x 768)'

I'd rather buy a Atom based netbook, also the new VIA processor in the new samsung netbook seems to be good, but not this old on in 2133. thats a bit slow. but the keyboard on this laptop is great.

I had one of these until recently. Well built - especially the keyboard - but badly let down by the processor. It was not even capable of displaying video feeds full screen without the picture becoming very choppy! Sent it back and got an Advent 4213 with built in 3G. Just avoid the HP 2133 IMO.

Just noticed that this one only has 512MB RAM, mine was 1GB so i reckon you'll struggle even more than I did. Multi-tasking is a no-no with the 2133 btw.
