good luck finding a laptop where the cpu is changeable, and most definitely not at this price point.

I'm just asking because I have a g2 hp but has a faulty motherboard. The CPU is an i5 core

I always buy Acer laptops, reason, generally the panel that covers the Thermal parts, i.e CPU, CPU fan and Heat sink etc is removable allowing easy access to the above. Note the word generally!

What do you gain by having a removable panel? Only thing you can change on laptops is the hard disk/optical drive and RAM (unless it's soldered to the motherboard) Not hard to take laptops apart, plenty of videos on YouTube and hardware maintenance manuals for quite a few models too.

Afraid not mate. Unless you find an identical model laptop to what you have, you cannot change the CPU in laptops.

Also agree with all of the above. These low power AMD CPU's are just terrible.
