To all those confused. This does not write Blu ray discs. This will write Dvd and Cd discs only. The only Blu ray thing about it is that it will let you watch Blu ray movies.

The biggest difference is it will need to be mains powered (as opposed to USB powered)
Still, a very good price for what it is.
