same as epson...epson ones are 6 cart colours...hp ones have one cart covering 6 colours - works out about the same....both are good makes.....i have an hp 6410 - good printer, but hp bloatware software is a joke, epson and canon make good printers, samsung make good cheap mono lasers.....lexmark (and dell rebadged lexmarks) are terrible

This is £37 at PC World...
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0658488694.1252707312@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccdcadeifimhgljcflgceggdhhmdfhj.0&category_oid=-24820&sku=933581&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null

Which? rates it quite highly (for the price point).

Edit - slightly diff model number. eyes no longer functioning... still, how different can it be? :)

I have this printer and have been very pleased with its performance, both scanning and printing and its works seemlessly over wireless with my iMac.
#8
Almost bought this in Tesco yesterday for over £10 more!
#9
looks hot to me!
#10
Thanks OP. Seems like a great deal.
#11

Unless they are laser. Lexmark laser printers are excellent.

Another way of getting it cheaper will be, calling PC World, asking them to price match it under their policy(They have it for £48.99) They will price it down to match the price and then give you an extra 10% of the difference. I got £90 knocked off my camera a few weeks back.:-D

Edit - Heres the PC World website address: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0658488694.1252707312@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccdcadeifimhgljcflgceggdhhmdfhj.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=767594&category_oid=-24820

..because with the 10MFPRINT code Comet's price is £44.10, so would they not 110% pricematch that price (as click to collect is available at the local Comet store) making it £39.69? Don't forget 5% TopCashback for click and collect with PC World or 3.5% with Comet....:-D

Yeah was wondering about this, or what are the best compatibles nowadays? I see you can get XL catrdidges as well, which seems a good idea (although why not just do XL?)
#25
yeah tried google but not really sure ones are really working with this kind of printer.
so if anyone has an idea and has found a good source where to order good inks please let us know.

I think quite a few people would be interested!
#26
i would be interested to know if anyone ordered online after me was the order completed? coz i got the out of stock fob off
#27
I'd like to order one on the 'collect at store' option, but can't see a box to for put in a discount code when I go through the reserve at store option. Is there a way of still getting the discount?
#28

How do you get this price? When I put it in my basket and use the code 10MFPRINT it just brings it down to £53.99. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.

i bought one of these 2 months ago.
Not impressed at all..

Paper jams alot, ink expensive ive wanted to throw this plenty of times!

Wish i had bought a diff one.

My parents bought one of these yesterday but have not been able to get the wireless set up so they have it wired up! Kind of defeats the object of buying a wireless model!!
