Who cares! When the cartridges run out, chuck it out and buy a new printer. This is the stupid situation we are in these days with dirt cheap printers and rip off cartridges.

Talk about increased landfill!

I've added cartridges/pages printed and prices for them.

You'll find with 'compatibles' that since the cart has been re-cycled the onboard chip 'may' not be working as smartly as it was intended,, also the nozzles that do the printing work may be clogged.

The Alternative is to buy something like a Brother or Epson that use chips onboard the printer and where the cartridges are just dumb 'pots of ink' (more of them though!) but at a fraction of the price!

Prices for the cartridges above are genuine HP cartridges; to me £6-7 per cartridge is not that expensive!!

Compared to epson compatibles I find £6 to £7 per cartridge extortionate

epson compatibles For my r300 are 3.49 for 6 cartridges from www.UKDVDR

I'd rather spend £28ish on new cartridges than £40odd on a new printer with half filled cartridges.

we need a new printer and wanted to go wireless so will be looking for this next trip to asda thanks

Tempting for a new wireless printer at a very good price.

Pitty HP cartridges are extortionate. Can you get compatiables for HP? My local shop sells Epson individual inks at £2, which I don't mind paying.

Saying that, I do little printing since I mainly email my documents around. Very rare I need to print these days. Voted hot based on price.

is this a nationwide deal?
