i have a hp pavillon laptop which i bought in 2007, can i use this for that?

its not working at the moment...

The list of supported laptops is on the link and no pavillion is not one of them.
#3
misprice? also can you add this on to an out of warranty laptop?
#4
You only have a limited time within which you can buy and activate carepacks. So generally these go cheap when the chances of anyone being able to buy and fulfil the conditions to activate are very small.

I have a hp 530 laptop but I think the warranty has expired about a year ago. Would I be able to register this or is it 30 days after its expired?
#6
Just bought a probook. It's got 12 month warranty. Shall I buy the above? Or do these deals keep coming.
#7
was looking at getting one of those HP proliant microservers with £100 cash back. I am sure you also get £30 cash back if you purchase this care pack as well?? am I right???
#8
no I'm not - just for laptops...bah just forked out £4 notes for nowt : - (
#9
Dont know if this will cover mine as I don't have the original invoice. But for £4 its worth a try!
#10
My laptop (listed as compatible) is about a year out of warranty - can I use this?

I think it should be activated within 30 days after the warranty expired and no earlier than 90 days before it expires.
#12
ah well. I probably wouldn't use it anyway since it's quicker to fix it myself anyway!
Actually I'd probably just buy a new one at this point lmao

It supersedes the current warranty, so it's only actually a 1yr extension, just confirmed by my HP rep (I work for an IT company)

Thats correct, the 2 year warranty is a scam/sham. It includes the first year warranty. All of the extended warranties on HP do. Great to have on expensive laptops, esp accident and damage

These deals are rare at such a low price.

Mine came in the post this morning.
Just registered online with HP without any issues.
As I said my laptop is approx 8mths into it's original 1yr warranty.
Good times!

Thats weird. I bought it just now and it offered me next day delivery for nothing. How can they deliver it tomorrow?
#20
They did deliver it!
I got an overnight delivery and a 2 year warranty all for just 4 quid. How cool is that. I remember buying the 3 year DELL warranty for £170.
