install linux?

If you're trying to ask if it's possible to install Linux on these, then the answer is yes.

Pretty sure it hasn't got a 16GB SATA SSD. It will be 16GB of embedded NAND flash.

Hmm, link seems to be broken now. HP are probably re-jigging their website.

Hopefully, these will take you to the chromebox product pages.

No it actually has a SSD - this is pretty much identical to the Asus Chromebox which hasn't been released in the UK yet:

would be a brilliant choice for XBMC I feel ...

Well I suppose it means that you could upgrade. I'm surprised they bothered.

The guy above suggests its the same as the Asus one so it SATA Express M.2 and not mSATA?

Very capable alt to a second pc. Still not up to replacing el windows or osx but its very nice to use. I picked up the acer deal a month back and as a first time owner of a chromebook i very rarely go to the pc anymore. Office docs still dont work amazingly on chrome os and certain things like coupon sites wont work as they use propitiatory software to print vouchers and cant be installed on chrome os. Besides that I genuinely am happy with it for every other aspect of my daily computing needs

From the pictures it looks like another power brick job. Always takes the shine off a MiniPC if it requires a power supply half the size.

Can openlec & plex home theatre all in one distro be put on this? Just trying to work out which is better this or the dn2820dkyh nuc with additional bits?
