Not 15 mins ago I had ordered this from Play.com with £5 McD code making it £39.95. I just cancelled it in favour of this offer, hope I made the right choice, years since I bought a printer and no idea what I am looking for.

I got one of these from Sainsburys a few months ago for £50, well pleased with it, quality printing and easy set up. Scanning also works wirelessly too which is better than my old Brother printer with which it had to be plugged in for scanning.

Is it easy to re-use the chips and how often can the chips be reused?

Also has anyone brought this specific printer and replaced the chips to use cheaper ink? Its just i cant find any mention of this printer on any sites selling cheap ink, while they do dell the HP 364 type of ink (which this printer uses) it never mentions this printer specifically even though there is a big list of other compatible printers...

Thx for ur time

why would anyone want to print from abroad?
If you have a web enabled printer, sounds like you are asking for spam to be emailed and printed to it
#12
I’m pretty sure I could print from abroad with my old fax machine in the late ’80s.

Been waiting for 245B to appear again at around ~35 at amazon and all of sudden this one comes at similar price. Thanks for the heads up, ordered!

This worked for me - added this printer lead to basket and was free at checkout - £44.99 for both

I should've listened to the comments I got when I posted the voucher code and posted the printer instead :)

in terms of cheap INK

That was another I considered, £99.95 at Argos less the £40 seemed a great deal but the size put me off, just a little big for where I want to put it.
#26
size comparison is a good point

Product dimensions (W x D x H)
HP CN216B: 452 x 401 x 199 mm=36069148cubic mm
HP 6500A Plus:476 x 450 x 258 mm=55263600cubic mm

How can this company still be in business! The only thing keeping HP afloat is the extortionate price it charges for ink refills. Without that the company would have gone under long ago.

Mine arrived also, never saw the cable offer til too late but no worries its a great printer from what I have seen so far. Desktop connect thru USB & 2 laptops wireless, wireless took a bit of sorting but got there with a little messing.

Came across a problem with this printer yesterday, can't find a way to do mirror image printing, checked HP support, 3 others asked for support on the issue, no reply from HP so I assume it can't be done.

Now only £39.99 with code. Just ordered

I'm new to printers. Would I need to install some software onto my laptop to use my laptop with the printer? I own a Macbook air and so have no cd drive... :-I
