The thing I love about HP/Compaq is that their three year extended warranties only cost about £40, roughly a third or a quarter of the majority of other brands. I think that probably the reflects the confidence that HP have in their products. ;)

A brand new HP for under £200? Bargain.. Even if it does have the N270.
#3

I cant find their warranty for £40, cheapest is £65. Also can you buy the warranty after buying the netbook?

EDIT: http://h40059.www4.hp.com/uk/homelaptops/warranty.php?id=VJ581EA&experience=direct 2 years for £40 , 3 years £65

Aww :( I got a three year E-warranty for my HP laptop about nine months ago. From Ebuyer - £42.

You can buy the extended warranty any time up until your one year warranty runs out. I bought mine when my laptop was about 11 months old.

This is a great little machine with excellent keyboard and screen. Realistic battery life 2-2.5 hrs. Bear in mind a 6 cell battery (available) is bulkier and heavier - do you really need one?

Bought mine last year for £179 at CPW. I too would live to extend warranty for £40ish if someone can post a link.

0.512 mb i think is very slow.

the msi wind U100 plus deal from a while back it says its expired but the deal is still on the maplin website. link

And it's now £169 !

I bought a white one last week (and using it now!) for £180 all inc (via Quidco) and very happy with it - glad I went for the MSI as it's a N280 and a 1.3MP Camera)

this deal was on here about 2 weeks ago, it was titled as a buy from The Hut but someone also comented that you could get it from Zavvi.

Im using it now to write this comment. Either way, it's a good purchase.

zavvi were ait slow with the delivery considering they have to collect the netbooks from the Channel islands before being able to deliver it
