This may be a good deal and a great printer, however for the life of me I can't imagine ever trying to print to it when I'm not actually in the house next to it, let alone half way around the world.

For a start in my experience you need to check there is paper present and it isn't jammed, then you need to check it is turned on.

Surely it would make more sense to do your printing when you get back, or email the person who can print them out.

Lol I have to admit it is a rather odd USP! I thought exactly the same thing.....Would be a great way to spook people in the house out by sending them random messages from the printer! :D

I remember accidentally printing out 'inapproriate e-mails' many years ago to a printer in head office from a remote site, before I understood what a VPN was & back in the days of ISDN. It was never discussed but I'm sure they knew it was me. lol X) I kept printing out wondering why nothing was coming out of my printer on site till I realised I selected one from the head office network.
Brilliant. After I'd sussed, I used to do it for a laff...
