  Its a disgrace you can buy a new printer with ink, cheaper than you can buy the ink on its own , what a waste...

  Since always, in my experience. I buy printers in quantity at work and always have to tear up and redo orders because I forget to add the USB cables on! The last hp printer I bought for home (admittedly years ago) didn't come with a cable either, and I remember at one point there was a big thing on the boxes saying "don't forget your USB cable!"

  An HP with cheap compats would be a rarity (to say the least) each refill will cost more than the printer.
