Seeing Tesco was out of stock, had a look and found HP had this on special offer as well. Use the code HPBOO to get 15% off (and it seems free delivery)

Is an entry level all in one, but at this price and the fact you can get 3rd party ink fairly cheap, makes it a good bargain IMO!

Great little printer this, just purchased mine from TESCO's using their £5 discount code. Allows you to copy documents without PC being switched on.

Bought one for my mum...great little scanner/copier , very quiet printer and runs on Vista
recommend this ..ink carts are quite cheap too
#4
Good price

Wait til you,ve had it 6 months.... see how great a printer you think it is then when the damn thing keeps failing... and replacement ink IS expensive....

Got to vote this cold purely because its one of the least reliable printers I have ever owned...

Cheap price if you want the scanner (which isnt bad) but the printer is HIDEOUS quality and reliability wise!

Sorry OP :(

Did you ever ring HP to report the fault if it was still under warranty ? They have an excellent customer service in my experience. I bought an original HP printer cartridge that wouldn't print properly. I raised a query online on the HP website then spoke to them on the phone. They took the serial number of my printer plus the cartridge details & sent me a replacement plus an extra complimentary one for my trouble by courier. I was genuinely impressed with their customer service.

Got this on Friday and really happy! Got carts with it too which I was not expecting! Great deal.
#11
Can anyone tell me where they get their cheap 3rd party ink for this?
#12
dont forget8% quidco.
#13
HP are lexmark inks are way too high, probably more expensive than the actual printer!
#14
Ink replacement ISNT expensive for this printer actually, Misco sell the black cartridge for around £10 for genuine cartridges and colour isnt to much more.

Go for the HP XL cartridges - bigger capacity (eg I think the HP21xl is12ml instead of HP21 5ml) for only a few pounds more

Have to totally disagree with this. I have had no problems with these. They are light use printers but very good quality. Even photo prints are surprisingly good. Best printer I've ever owned and I've had some very expensive photo printers in the past.

bought one. H&R added!

For Linux users, this printer is not compatible. See:

i bought my ink for £15 and that was for 2 black and 1 colour and they have more ink than the original ones i think its something like 20ml instead of 5ml.

Ive had an HP C3180 in the past, cant really fault it. Except that the bundled software is NOT compatible with Wacom pen tablets (although this wont affect many people)
