If you mean that your broadband is wireless through a dongle then yes you will need a router.

Wireless through a dongle ? could you please explain ? I am using Virgin wireless broadband.

If you have a wireless network in your home then this will work perfectly on it. It will not work via a 3g dongle, but not sure anyone was asking that! Great printer, original ink is a joke on price, but I have bought remans off Ebay for £5 each, XL size too. Initial ink is also a joke and lasts about 3 prints - lol

4.0 out of 5 stars Great printer, Software could be better, 30 Nov 2009
By Mr. R. J. Bedford

It will also scan wirelessly - though the logic of doing that is a bit more tenuous. Useful for scanning a document to another PC in the house but not really any easier than using a USB stick to transfer a scanned document.

i can scan wireleesly with my wifi printer, thats the whole point of a wireless printer

Bought this from staples for £41 quid plus £10 instore credit yesterday. not a bad little printer.
Photo print quality not quite as good as my old cheapo epson though, even on photo paper and highest setting. Good for the odd document with images where my samsung CLP 300 laser isn't quite up to it.

Dead straightforward to setup, which is a bonus for the less techie types.

got this from pixmania, great all-in-one

I have this printer and you can't scan wirelessly, you have to connect by USB.

The ink may not be the cheapest but the quality is fantastic.

would be fantastic if it had a fax too :-D if anyone spots one with a fax for a similar price please post!!

i too picked this up for £35 a couple of months ago and have wirelessly scanned many documents. Not by pressing button on the printer/scanner, but via the software included.

excellent printer so far

Maybe I've been doing it wrong. My printer actually says by the button that to scan it's USB only but I shall get the manual out. Thanks
