why cold? show me a better deal. It may be refurb, but will seem now different to new.
probably because its a refurb, i paid £375 new in september for this.
I got one of these before christmas with a 5% voucher and it might as well be brand new, you wont find a similar spec'd laptop for the same money. Hot from me.

from where?, this is £40 cheaper after quidco which tracked at 10 somthing? you wont notice its a refurb as its no different from new. it still has the standard 1 year warranty
pcworld.. hated doing it but i needed it fast.

Its not a bad price but people will vote cold just because its a refurb and because people vote cold on everything on here

Have had all my laptops from currys refurbs , the hp and compaq are good quality compared to the advents and packard bell rubbish , and all the ones we have had i would challenge any one to say they wernt new ,
I paid £299 for a 17" compaq intel duel core 2gb ram with all the goodies
BUT all currys and Dixons refurb laptops went up by £50 at the beginning of dec, overnight (to catch the christmas buyers) so wiating till they have good stocks around feb march will probally see these cheaper by then ,they were last year when the same thing happened and i bought one , but dont leave it to close to easter !
I paid £238 for this in PC World last month in their 'Vista' misprice. Brilliant machine and a bargain at anything under £400. I am playing Bioshock, HL2 and Assasins Creed on here with ease.

Heat added.

This is still available for £400 if you use the method posted by LazyDonkey. £50 more gets you more ram, bigger HDD and better processor. Plus its brand new.
Not a great processor - the QL-65 is slower than the Intel Celeron T3000.
You can get a similar Dell Inspiron 1545 with 4GB ram and Intel T3000 processor for £320 delivered from the Dell Outlet. It doesn't have the discrete graphics card so it depends on whether you want to play games on the laptop.
I had this delivered on Monday, £366 after code and cashback. Still believe there was nothing better around for the money, voted cold -97 but no-one could offer anything better.
This looks better than the rubbish I have seen on here recently re laptops , so heated
