Dixons (and PC World) have a seemingly very cheap HP notebook - it's £1049.99 at Play.com . Ignore the specs on the Dixons site, they're most likely very wrong.

If you're in the market for a well specified and reliable entertainment notebook, the HP Pavilion dv7-3020sa is worthy of close inspection!

AMD Turion II processor M520 (2.2Ghz, 1MB Cache) Genuine Windows(R) 7 Home Premium 4GB Memory 320GB Hard drive Up to 2 hours battery life ATI 512mb graphics LED Backlit screen HDMI connectivity Altec Lansing speakers with subwoofer

????? Your specs are mixed up with the £1,300 model...
The specs might be wrong, or the model number might be wrong and the specs right - be careful!
There is no way that an entertainment laptop has a 17inch screen, an i7 processor and 2 x 320gb hard-drives, The correct spec for the model is the AMD turion as in speedski's post.
Believe these are two different laptops hence the big difference in Price.

The Turion processor is more than likely a special build for PC World and Curries and hence it does not show on the HP site.
on pcworld this laptop has amd turion not intel :( and pcworld odfer up to 100quid when you trade old laptop
HP DV7-3020sa is £599 and HP DV7-3020ea is £1099 - so spec on Dixon and PC WORLD are right. You cant get corei7 for £599!!!
Sounds a good deal. There's an Extra 5% off at currys making it £569.99 and free delivery using code SAVE5 and 3% quidco but I think that code will be finishing soon.
dv7-3020ea on HP site and HP Pavilion dv7-3020sa on Dixons site can you spot the difference?
