nice but crap touchpad which is a shame
Wait for SandyBridge processors... the lowest config is i7 2630QM running at 2.0ghz and is way better than this... I would expect it to retail at about 700-750gbp
MIght be OOS now

I agree wholeheartedly with this comment. The latest raft of HP touch pads are simply the worst I have ever used. I bought a cracking HP laptop for my wife for Christmas and it had to go back because it was impossible to do simple straighforward tasks with the touchpad.

Buyer Beware.

go away i don't want them to go out of stock so cold..... lol I just brought one oh and don't forget that voucher code works with Quidco or topcashback...

my top cashback tracked at

so it looks good so far

Sold out
Sandybridge processors are already out, Dell is already supplying then for their Xps 17 laptop range. I have ordered one a few days back.

I thought they had about a 3 week lead time (probably due to the chip recall)....might be wrong though.
looks to have expired non left... I have one I think at the £1000+ price tag it is a rip off...but at this price it is a steal!!!!

I have tried a number of laptops in recent weeks including m11x, envy 14 and dell xps 15. While the Envy was the most powerful it was way too hot and noisy at my normal load. The XPS was a lot quieter (ugly though) but the 420m grpahics didn't really cut it. I would imagine the 15inch envy being very hot and noisy when used at load.

The m11x is light years ahead of them all but I would like it with mobile cpu not ULV.
Just bought Dell XPS 15 i7 2nd Gen with Turbo Boost to 2.9Ghz , 4GB DDR3 , Bluetooth, Wireless n, 3g slot, 9cell battery, 2GB Graphics card, for £738 inc del.
ouch i did not realise that this had a external dvd drive :(
