Argos 4527 deal is slightly better but this is still good

Bought this when it was £35 with 6 months free ink (and an extra month thanks to someone giving me a referral code).
As an occasional user (mosly it's the kids' homework) I'm very happy with it; mine will default to £1.99/month for 50 pages once the free deal expires. That's much cheaper and simpler than buying ink cartridges for my old Epson.

Great deal.

These are awesome and the ink deals are even better.

I'll never have a printer that's not on this deal again.

Have been using HP Instant Ink for almost a year now, using the 100 sheet per month deal £3.49, absolutely brilliant, ink sent in post automatically when levels fall, never run out of ink and no unexpected ink bills, definitely more cost effective and you never miss the few pounds direct debit. Very flexible arrangement, increase or decrease required monthly usage as necessary, or just pay for the extra pages used over your allowance. I have never had to do do yet, as you can carry over unused quota up to the maximum of your allowance each month, simply brilliant, can't recommend it enough. (Don't work for HP either

They were probably referring to this http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/hp-envy-4523-one-wireless-printer-with-3-months-instant-ink-34-99-argos-free-c-c-2618865?p=30148507
where people have ordered the 4523 for £34.99 but were usually given the 4527 at collection

Been on instant ink since December 2014, fantastic service. Never been without ink, no problems changing plan when required.
Just bought the 8715 deal with £74 credit, 3 months trial and used the freeink code as well as a referral code.

My old canon printer packed in yesterday. I went to Currys today and bought this printer, offered 3 year guarantee for £10, i refused, BUT chap insisted that if the printer breaks or is damaged (unintentionally) they will replace it (says unlimited number of times in terms, unless stock is not available) and each time it is replaced the new machine comes with ink. So in theory 3 years worth of ink for £10!
I set the printer up hours ago and very impressed for £30. It also has touchscreen which makes it simple to use.
Thanks op. A cracking deal for me!

Did you buy ink or do you wait until your home and set it up for instant ink?

The 4520 and 4523 are the same specs-wise. It depends whether in Argos you get given the 4527 - again the printer is the same but the instant ink trial should be one or two months longer with the 4527.
