Just been to Sainsburys in Braehead, Glasgow where I spotted they had the HP G62-105SA reduced to £399.99. They only had one left in stock which the box had already been opened, I needed it for a gift so didn't bother with that one however both the Hamilton and Kirkintilloch branches have stock at the same price, this appears to be a national deal.
It is also on the Sainsbury's website however showing out of stock.
Cheapest price for this laptop currently is £439.96 from ebuyer.

With a big screen and fast processor (2.13GHz), this HP laptop is ideal for streaming and watching movies. Running Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit it has got 3GB of memory and a hard drive of 320GB - plenty of space for running programs and storing pictures, movies and songs.

The heart of the machine is a an Intel Core i3 Processor and it's got a disc writer/re-writer, as well as a host of connection options: three 2.0 USB ports and a card reader. Built-in speakers, webcam and integrated microphone plus a range of trial software and a recovery CD complete the package.

I'm not sure the original post is right OP.
Ebuyers best price for this is: £439.96.

It's worth changing before the Coolios of this world start ice grenading your deal.

My 2 cents :P

You have to make your own recovery cds using the program built in by hp. However stupid program only lets you make 1 set. My HP G62-107 crashed during disc burning and failed to recognise this, so it then wouldn't let my try again. Thankfully I did this day I bought it locally, took it back and had it replaced with another and thankfully didn't have this prob again.

Not a bad deal however I got my 107 which is the same except got 250g hd and 2 gig ram for £294 after trade in (old knackered p2 laptop) and quidco. Which was a better deal for me.
