I picked up the Toshiba Satellite 660-11K for £369 in Amazon's black friday deals earlier today. The specs seem comparable (altho smaller HDD) so may be worth keeping your eye out in case they offer it again....

Why cold votes, Seems really good spec for this money.

I agree, looks pretty good.....

Also I wouldn't compare a HP to a Toshiba.

Agreed - I had an HP laptop and a few years ago and it was always being sent back for repair and the customer service was terrible. I think I had it for 8 months and it went back about 8 times for repair until John Lewis just replaced it for a new Sony laptop as I wouldnt have another HP one.

Sure some people have good experiences but I wouldnt recommend from my experience.

well i actually find this laptop a very good deal, although i got mine for £429 in the january sales. Plus all my laptops have been HP my last one lasted me 6 years. it was only 1GB and that was after i had upgraded the ram. Anyway i have to express my love for this produce and HP laptops
