There is a big software update available for this unit to improve its functions and stability that was released only last week http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=uk&prodTypeId=215348&prodSeriesId=3544278&prodNameId=3544282&swEnvOID=2051&swLang=118&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=hh-61307-2
Maybe not a TomTom but a great buy at the price?

Haven't checked but hopefully the software update will resolve some of the issues the reviewers found.

Problem is, after using a Garmin temporarily (just one journey-it was enough) it was almost embarrasing to see how far behind TomTom they were. So I'd be a bit sceptical about buying any non TomTom unit in the future.
lol
Funny that, last time I used a TomTom it was terrible. The maps were new, but they were just so wrong. The unit also fell to pieces once you went under a bridge.
Saying that, I did just buy a TomTom GO 720, and I must say their online service is cool. Dunno what the navigation's like though.
I have also been told that because it is windows CE operating system it can be easily hacked to use the tomtom software along with a load of other available windows CE applications.
In my opinion (sure loads of you will disagree) its a very good price, you can't go wrong.
Alas my car stereo has'nt got a traffic update selection as i bought it from hong kong, if i can get a module i'll buy this sexy wee beast.

I'm sure I saw one on the ebuyer website for about £30.
It is now gone up by £26 so if you want one you need to go to Dabs.

Obviously wasn't the same as the Nuvi 760t I've just bought ;)
I placed two orders for the HP Ipaq 314 on expansys. Two separate orders because i wanted to take advantage of the 10 pounds savings i could get. So they went through, i got confirmation.
Then 10 minutes later i get an email saying that i must have pressed the refrest button by mistake and that the second order has been cancelled because i probably didnt mean to make two orders! There was about 10mins between each order though!?
THEN, i got an email saying my credit/debit card details are incorrect. Followed by another email saying my item is ready to be dispatched by i have ommitted the postcode..errr..NO, i specifically remember writing down my postcode. Am i the only one with this problem? What seems to be going on?
Completely baffled!!
