I'm not keen on some of the 19" widescreen monitors because of the reduced depth of the monitor so I like £1280 x 1024, rather than 1440 x 900. For anyone that agrees this is a cracking price for a good make of 19" monitor; certainly better than that HannsG c**p. Use Google checkout, Super Saver Delivery and HP Cashback to get this price.

The HP L1906 monitor displays brilliant text and graphics, which allows you to view more data and applications simultaneously.

There is nothing wrong with the HannsG which I bought recently and has a faster response than this one.
Good deal for a 19" nonetheless.

To be honest, you may as well spend another £6 and get the next model up, it has a 5ms refresh rate.

£6 more for which model?

Here's a link to the HP specs page. This is an 8ms not a 12ms monitor. Most people aren't going to notice the difference between 12ms and 8ms. The 5ms monitor referred to in another post won't get any cashback anyway so it works out to be a lot more money.

I'm sure the HannsG is OK really but it got a lousy write up in a recent PC Pro. Also in the event of problems with the monitor towards the end of its warranty I'd rather be dealing with HP than some here today gone tomorrow chinese company.

I went to see what Quidco would be worth on this, only to see that eBuyer are only offering 0.1%. Is it me or is that ridiculous - its worth about 10p!
