the only monitors in the HP (non consumer) range that are bigger than these are the v216w (21"), 2465 (24") or 3065 (30").

The v216w is mainly sold in Asia Pacific. cheapest price I can see for the 2465 is £416.99 with free delivery from BT after £40 cashback using same promotion as above

Any feedback for the cold votes?

Any feedback for the cold votes?
unlikely :) lurkers lurking lol

guess people don't really get the differnece between a branded height adjustable VGA/DVI monitor with USB hub and 3 year warranty and any old 20.1 inch monitor for the same kinda money.

Wil eagerly await someone finding this monitor cheaper than this price tho

It's really disheartening when you find a good deal & post it here to have it voted cold straight away without any feedback from the people voting... Hopefully someone will be brave & say something :)

Voted hot btw as it seems to be the cheapest I can find this for :)

I bought one of these yesterday from ebuyer. If its anything like the ones we have at work they are top quality. We have the 19" L1940T, the screen is much better than the cheaper TFTs we have. No DVI cable included so best off buying one at the same time, only £2.70 quick find code: 130561

I can only imagine that people are voting this cold so they can get one before they sell out. Not many left at this price.

The same offer is available @

If someone wants to make use of :) !!

Cheers!

I'm pretty sure this is the monitor I bought about 6 months ago with a cashback offer - think it cost me £125 (took quite a while for the cashback cheque to arrive from memory). the build quality is excellent, it really is a sturdy bit of kit and being able to roatate the screen by 90 degrees to get potrait can be useful. I highly recommend this screen.

Good spot. BT gets you free delivery but Dabs doesn't - since BT owns Dabs clearly BT wears the pants in this relationship. Only downer is there is none in stock at either. Still some in stock at ebuyer

I have one of these, absolutely superb monitor. I've had the need to use HP's 24hour replacement service for this monitor and it all works ok, although it is refurb monitors they use for the replacement service.
Best monitor I've ever had and it's built like a tank.

Looking at some positive comments & the 30 GBP rebate.. I didn't want to miss this HOTTY! Ordered one.. so that makes my Desktop PC. Already order HP from another deal and now these two make the it all :) !! All thanks to HUKD :) !!

This is actually cheaper from Microwarehouse or PCW Business when you take into account the following:
Actual Price is £166.27 plus £5 delivery, but you get 5% off if you go via quidco, so rough cost is £163 delivered.

I have this monitor and as you say has great looks and features, seems to have been built to last with a very good warranty. Only downside is if you view it from an angle it has parts of the screen which are darker than the rest, but that is a problem with a lot of TFT panels - unless you pay top whack.

Best price for today only is play.com as they have 10% off so works out about £162. Then add quidco + free delivery on top of that its much cheaper

- 30.00 rebate

they don't come up on the e-partner or e-preferred partner list at hp.co.uk and they don't come up on a search. Play are of course well within their rights to buy from HP distribution partners like CCD, Ingram, C2000 etc and HP can't do anything about it but it is probably best to check with Outbound (who run the cashback promo for HP) if they will accept cashback claims for kit bought from play.com.

Sample page from DSGi (Equanet, PCWB, Microwarehouse etc)

Sorry I didn't read the T&C very closely  It will be too late to check as the 10% off @ play.com was only for today. Never mind I was after a 22" really anyway.

if you need something with a built in TV tuner then try the one mentioned here http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1331437&postcount=4
Downside is that it of course is nowhere near as good a PC monitor as the HP one.
Upside is that it functions as a telly.

Other possibility is to buy a TV card to fit inside your PC and then the HP monitor works as a telly

I posted this deal on moneysavingexpert a few months back when they were on IT247 for 199.99 - minus the 50quid cash back, I LOVE THEM< very very very happy with these monitors and I dont see myself changing them for a very very long time....
#30
Cheers, order placed :)
#31
I looked up reviews of this monitor and some show the monitor with a black bezel. Can anyone confirm the ebuyer one is actually silver? Thanks alot.
#33
Great monitor, portrait mode is useful and unique at this price point. Bezel is silver, rear and base are mainly black.
#34
The earlier post on a DVI cable actually gave a link to a DVI to VGA Cable which probably isn't what you want.

The proper link for a 2m DVI to DVI cable is http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130568
Currently only £2.70

Play doesn't have the Cash Back offer going.. why bother to get from them :whistling: !! I even tried their search and never found.. and when I found them through the link... hmmm no cash back! eBuyer is best in this deal and provided they have stock !!

And after couple of order.. its 10 in stock  !! Grab it when its hot... I am awaiting for the delivery :whistling: !!
#36
bagged one of these - thanks to OP.
#37
For comparison I get £171.57 after Quidco 4% from HP business site with 10% & free delivery voucher. Says £30 finishes at end Nov (but this is not correct) so £141.57delivered. In stock there if it is needed.

The carbonite is for the US only. SKU for the North American version is RD125AA#ABA. The #ABA after the part number is the HP localisation code. The final A in ABA stands for America. If you buy from Ebuyer, or any other UK supplier, you will get a part number ending in #ABU with U, rather unsurprisingly, standing for United Kingdom.

Scroll down to the end of the specs and you will see "Color Carbonite/Silver, All carbonite (NA only)"

I ordered it. But noticed people mentioned only having a VGA cable included but not DVI cable. Dose it matter? How much difference can it be? If DVI is a must have, how much dose it cost and where is the best place to get one?
#40
Ordered one of these from ebuyer (+ a 3m DVI cable in case people are interested). Excellent find, thanks. Things like a height adjustable stand are a real bonus. I had one of my previous TFTs standing on a large block of wood to get it to the right height!
