There are a lot of caveats, see below, but under ideal hardware subsystems the A12-9700P's integrated graphics compares fairly well to the Nvidia GeForce 920MX.

I haven't seen any reviews of the HP model but the cooling system in laptops using the A12-9700P needs to be good, otherwise the TDP of the A12 chip sees some thermal throttling, reducing performance under load. Also, to hit the higher frame rates you need to use dual-channel memory, two sticks of RAM; I imagine the HP only comes with a single 8GB stick.

Put another way, provided you are using dual-channel memory, many games from 2015/2016 can be played smoothly at low settings. At low settings, most recent titles, like Battlefield 4, will play fluidly a little below 60fps and between 30 - 40fps at medium settings. Sources - Youtube reviews (I couldn't find any in English but the stats were on the screen while the game was being played) and the review site notebookcheck.

I don't know how well the HP implements the AMD A12 APU, not having seen reviews of the HP model, and I would be keen to see how it fares against a laptop using an Intel i5 6260U (that model has the iris 540 integrated graphics which is a big improvement on the standard HD graphics in the i5 6200U) but the HP's full HD screen, 2TB hard drive are appealing on paper spec, at least, and the fact that I can't find it cheaper from a vendor I trust means I would tentatively give it some heat.
