I bought one of these last month from PC World for about £50, Dabs had them too.
Excellent Printer for my PC
Just keep in mind you cannot use this on a mac, HP do not have and have said they have no intention of producing drivers ofr the mac for the 1018

I've just bee checking the toner prices, a real HP one (Q2612A) is £44.37 !!!!!

while a compatible one comes in around £19.99

Isn't it cheaper to get a Samsung or Brother?

The printers can be found for roughly the same price but then you're only going to have to pay £8 or so to refill the toner carts.

Voted hot, but beware, some HP devices are not fully compatible with IE7. They were able to fix my scanner problem, but I cannot use the Internet and my inkjet printer at the same time. No big problem, as I normally use a Brother Laser. If you have such an issue, it is HP not your computer.

This also got an offer for free delivery on orders over £49 so you can just about get this delivered for free!

He's on about Internet Explorer 7. As for networking, the printer doesn't have a network port but you could share the printer by connecting it to one computer and switching on 'file sharing'
