  Have some heat as this is the best price at the moment, just had a look at all the other major retailers and this is the best by £5. Hoping this will drop another £10 or £15 in the next while before I pick one up.

  Did the cash back get extended again....the invoice needed to be before 30 april didnt it....which could be cutting it a bit fine?

  Great...will prob finally get one of these then....was just gonna get a 2 bay NAS but for 80 quid more it seems worth getting one of these. Just not sure if it would take me long to get it setup right.....will have a read of the owners thread before deciding for sure

  Love these, got one running as a nas come htpc. Clean and tidy, and pretty quiet. If the rebate is still running (they are quick to honor it) its a bargain for £140 net (although in fairness this is the going net price.)

  Is the cashback already extended past the 30th of April? If so do you have a link? The only thing I can find is the April limit which states: The product must be invoiced and delivered by the 30th of April.

  As for the GPU, I've got the HD6450 from eBuyer for about £32.00. But if you really just want XBMC and don't care about any gaming or 3D, go for the HD5450 for around £20.

  If you want XBMC you won't be buying an ATI card, you'd listen to all the advice and get an nvidia one (such as the GT520).

  Can someone explain to me the use of this thing, besides a HTPC box?
  
  I currently have an external HDD from my iMac that backs up both internal drives, and a RAID mirror device hooked onto my Airport Extreme base station that houses my iTunes library. I'd love something that takes gigabit ethernet and can hold the iTunes library and also take backups from the iMac. Can this do it? It's a lot cheaper than the 4 Tb NAS boxes / Drobo gadgets out there.
