how does this compare to the 2140? and has that been released yet?

If you're happy with c. £43 account credit, it works out at £247 with CDiscount (VAT back deal until 6pm on Friday). Account credit doesn't expire. Credit will be made to your account by end of March.

I've had no issues with CDiscount to date. Customer services query was responded to within 24 hours, and account credit turned up with expected timeframe.

PS: Info on VAT back is not on page linked - check out home page:

I've noticed it due in a week or two at Dabs:
http://www.dabs.com/ProductList.aspx?SearchTerms=HP%202140&SearchMode=All&SearchKey=All&PageMode=3&NavigationKey=0&SearchType=1

I'm interested in it too for the keyboard, but not at the prices on show.

Thanks for the reply. Yep the price is extortionate, if it comes down to £300 then itd be my first choice for a netbook.
