256 meg ram, is a bit naff....................i think its a cold deal
Fully wireless? What a meaningless description, it still has the onboard NIC
(obviously it'll need to be plugged in to be charged as well ;) )
And it only has 802.11b no g or n. Not for me sorry. Very dated specs, there is much better out there for similar money.

5 years is a very long time in computing and this is basically a 5 year old laptop. My last company was scrapping these as no longer viable.

12 month warrenty makes this not totally cold but would doubt you will get much longer than 12 months life out of it.
Like the last post my company scrapped these almost 2 years ago. That said they are quite stable but very underpowered compared to laptops now. They are also chunky Monkeys and are not light.
Not worth 199 that's for sure, ultimately this is a used laptop, with a poor spec...
Thanks for your input everyone im not bothered about being voted cold at all, my intentions were to bring what i thought was a bargin to you all sorry if i was wrong about it but hey its worth a look:thinking: Ive bought thislaptop for my 14 yr old daughter for xmas as her first laptop i wanted something that wouldnt break the bank and she could use easily most refurbs have only 3 months warranty so i thought that was good and it has bluetooth i thought that was good im not very computer savvy so im a bit worried now ive bought a donkey should have posted before i bought
Knowing how kids use laptops, particularly teenagers who want to use msn, skype, facebook, ebay, myspace, bebo etc constantly, i can tell you right away she'll be frustrated with this laptop pretty much straight away. Main issue with this is the installed RAM, 256MB is simply not enough if you plan to have more than 1 or 2 applications open. This laptop will crawl along until you give it some more RAM. You have bought a donkey, but you can make it usable...

Invest in some memory which is fortunately very cheap!
BEWARE an appalling company to deal with in my experience - I tried to buy a refurbished laptop which the website said was in stock and I needed urgently - I paid the extra for next day delivery - two days later nothing. Eventually got through on the phone to find they didn't have it in stock and they were holding my credit card payment (charged AFTER I had cancelled the order) - said it was 'suspected fraud' - didn't stop them from charging my card. Five weeks later I'm still waiting for a refund and they've ignored my emails. Looks like I'm far from the first to have this experience http://uk.local.yahoo.com/Bedfordshire/Dunstable/Software_%2526_Games/1097964092-e-18718.html Avoid like the plague - I doubt they'll be in business much longer - I'm involving Trading Standards and the Small Claims Court / Police.
