Not full HD, but has 9.5 hour battery, and the rest of the specs look good to me? £499.99 on the site but use "LAPTOP3" to get 3% off. (Code ends 20 Nov) Read More

Not Full HD?

What an unbalanced machine. Bravo HP, bravo.

As long as I have a full HD phone I'm going to refuse these 1366x768 laptops no matter how good the rest of the specs

I love the spec sheet though:

Software included
* Full version of Microsoft Office not included
* Full version of anti-virus / internet security not included

I know they have to make it clear for customers but this seems redundant. I know it's installed on the laptop as a trial by default, but they may as well just say "30 day trial of..."

There's lesser models. But none of them contain SSD.

Are all the negative votes simply because it doesn't have a full HD screen???

I'm not too concerned about that, so trying to work out if it's a decent deal otherwise. Can someone please advise?

Yeah it's a really good deal if you're OK with the screen that's all that's stopping me buying it. My current laptop has the same screen and it's actually fine, but manufacturers should really be giving a higher definition to match the other specs. In my opinion. I definitely wouldn't vote cold. Hope that helps

But expecting a laptop deal for 500 quid to have full hd is totally reasonable. It's 2016. Obviously 4k for 500 isn't reasonable
