This is my very first post, so please ignore if you can find better deal elsewhere.

A brilliant product and comes with 12 month warranty! Dixons retail selling the same product but refurbished for £550.

Can't go wrong me thinks. HP support is also better than other manufacturers. 55 sold....get it while you can.....

Why delete my thread? I posted it one minute before this. Unfair.

Fantastic price though, hot even though i found it first!

Doesn't seem too badly priced, considering the size.
Pretty good graphics for that resolution too.

£550 (refurbished) on the Currys/PC World website.

Weight: 2.18 kg.
A bit chunky for a 13.3" model but not too bad.

Great spec for a brand new small laptop, I5 and dedicated graphics... Red hot.

Wow, didn't notice the weight, does seem a little heavy for the size.

I'm tempted too... anyone had any feedback on refurbs from HP/Dixons Store Group?

I bought one of their refurb netbook a few weeks back and it was immaculate. Couldn't tell the difference between a brand new one and the refurb one. The only notable difference is the box it comes in.

Does this have HDMI out on it?
#10
Shame no HDMI. Almost thought search was over....

With HDMI but slightly more expensive and it has 3gb ram and 320gb HD. Use 5OFFCUR to get 5% off as well.

Sold out. If turns out does have HDMI (which appears may well) I'm going to be dissapointed. No where else seems to be anywhere near this price.

How does this compare with the last 13.3 deal, the refurb Samsung Q330 13.3,500hhd,4gb that sold for £299 delivered?
I am guessing this is worth the £127 more for the better processor, graphics not to mention the other bits and bobs and .2 or.3 kg more weight.

Extra 1GB RAM
500GB HDD vs 320GB
Re-furbished vs Brand new
integrated graphics vs dedicated
plastic case vs aluminium case
3 month warranty vs 12 months

There are more, but they are the main ones for me

Why is the track pad a nightmare?

Why is the track pad a nightmare?

The multi-touch feature isn't very responsive and trying to press any of the mouse button leads to your cursor moving around like a headless chicken. But apart from that, it's great! I'll do a comparison later on between my 13 MBP and this.

I had to disable the multi-touch gesture after a while. Not sure if the one I got has a slight fault in its driver or whether they are all like this but it took irritation to a whole new level. Right click locks the mouse from time to time, I can't move the mouse at all! Clicking and dragging is either too sensitive or too laggy. Good thing my dad's getting this and not me...I'll stick to my PC and MacBook Pro trackpad.

Hello,

i had one that had a faulty mousematt (locking when right clicking), so sent it back and got a replacment... which had a constant yellow line running down the screen! Now awaiting delivery of the third one! fingers crossed!!

Probably just bad luck, but has anybody else had problems with these NEW laptops!?
