Stumbled upon this when I noticed the price increase on the popular dm3-1020 model on Amazon (exactly the same as this laptop but with an AMD processor). This is a really good price, if the Quidco tracks at 8% then it will bring the price of this laptop down to about £391. The next lowest price is £489.99 on Amazon itself. The laptop comes with an external disk drive.

The graphic is crap, everything else is good.

This model has 2gb ram and 250gb hard drive, it's also got an AMD processor. :whistling:
the amd is better -- graphics card poor
For laptop, you can upgrade any component except the graphic. Once you get a poor graphic, it will stay with you for the whole life, lol.
the amd is better

Good luck with the heat, noise and battery life:thumbsup:
:( Ouch. I'm not a heavy gamer, would like to use this laptop for browsing internet and studying purposes. Should it be sufficient?

Of course.
It looks fine for what you want.

You might want to have a look as the Carphone Warehouse ASUS laptop that's been on here for a while at £350...

If the memory and the hard disk are upgraded on the AMD machine it will not work out cheaper...

...also it is not true that you can upgrade any component on a laptop - it may be possible to upgrade a processor, but not always...
Very nice laptops, good price for the intel model.
