I would suggest you don't take a blind bit of notice of this post which he is posting on every thread possible, so to save people being mislead, and potentially missing out on any good deals and spending more than they need, I can copy and paste this too :-(

Rather than argue intelligently the pros and cons of each particular deal and the economics and pitfalls of that deal, it is just the same junk all the way.

With some machines, it might be cheaper to get one with Windows 7 installed, with others, the cost of the upgrade is far less than the price
of the Windows 7 version, it just needs to be taken into account before buying like with every other purchase.

If the deal is right for you; and if after paying for the upgrade it is cheaper than the version with Windows 7 already installed, then there is no problem at all, save the cash!

I would always recommend doing a NEW install of Windows 7 with the disk anyway, not an upgrade, as on a new machine it takes barely any longer than letting it set itself up automatically, but has far less potential for problems, as with every version of Windows that has been released in the past. As it is new, you won't have to worry about keeping any of your data on the new disk anyway!
Any particular reason why this was voted cold? Looks like a decent laptop for a decent price to me...
