I have the bigger brother (dv7-1000ea, has blu-ray and a much better graphics card) to this and it is a fantastic machine (can be got from play with 5% voucher and £100 cash back), so i imagine this will be not to dis-similar. Not seen much that is as good as this for the price.

Just a note on the cash back offer, I got a email off dabs today and this machine was on it and it claims that if you order by the end of november you can claim £30 cash back but when you click on the link it takes you to the £100 offer, if you check the hp website you can only claim £100 back on this but it does not qualify as it is not over £600 and for the person who asked can it be waggled the answer is no, as you have to submit the price you paid without any extra and upload your invoice to prove it. But for anyone intrested in this it might be worth contact dabs and asking them how you can claim this £30 they claim on the email

I received my £100 yesterday, less than two weeks after I ordered my HP laptop.

Brilliant service.
