I'd probably update the title from 1.6Ghz, which sounds crap to i7 or something!

very nice cpu and very nice graphics but i'm not sure about the price. friends got the 15" model i think and the build is really good.

Good price for this model - around £100 cheaper than elsewhere :thumbsup:

This seems a fair price given the spec; sold as an entertainment model it could do with a better graphics card to complement the processor.

the GT 230M is fast! I had a dell vostro with a 8600M GT about 2 years ago and that was very capable, 8600M GT gets 3200 points in 3DMark06, this gets 5700.

Notebookcheck also says:
Demanding DirectX 10 games like Crysis should run fluently in medium details. Older or less demanding games should run in high detail settings and high resolutions.
