I've just bought a PC with Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz processor - how does that compare with this PC anyone know?
#8
according to http://www.cpubenchmark.net/common_cpus.html which someone recently give me the link to your processor is better, but price/parts/company would have to be considered.

I'd probably say the q8200 is around the performance of the phenom 9850, this being a 9650 your CPU is probably a shade faster (maybe 10% at a guess), though other components I can't say since you haven't said what else you have.

But then I'm guessing you paid more than £280 delivered? or if you did, probably no windows licence (wouldn't bother me as I don't use it, but most do & it's a good £50 minimum on the price...)

Ordered in a drunken haze. Looked fine to me. £478 with an Amazon Marketplace seller - but they are being a tad hopeful with that price.
