I spent the day (Friday 21st) looking for a nice laptop deal for my young nieces Xmas pressie. Yes, I really mean a whole 20 hours solid!
I initially noted HP had some cracking prices in their sale, with on average £100-£200 off laptops (34 models), which made them very good prices for a top brand.
Then I spotted a 15% voucher code: 15OFFVC
NEW CODE for 15% off: 15OFFXMAS
I was looking at the Envy Ultrabooks (which are lovely looking machines). But I plumped for the Pavilion Ultrabook™ 14-b006sa. This is currently on sale @ Very for £500 reduced from £580. Also a lower spec variant of this model (b005sa) is in Currys @ £480.
I have posted the specs. below, but we are talking a 3rd gen Intel (Ivybridge), with HD4000 graphics, 6GB ram, a SSD of 32GB which means a boot time of ~8 seconds (!!) as well as a 750GB SATA, HDMI, USB3, Webcam, SD slot, battery up to 9 hours and all packed in a sleek, ultra-thin 1.8kg package!
A modern budget Ultrabook of that spec. for less than £300 after Quidco. Fill yer boots! There are several other stonking deals on there.
To top it all - free NEXT DAY delivery - Which should (hopefully!) mean I get it in time for Xmas.
A blinding deal IMHO. But hurry the code ends Tomorrow (23rd) and Quidco is only 15% for 24 hours (till the 23rd also)! So that could mean almost 30% off already nicely discounted machines.
Hope this helps some folks. Time to go to bed now (03:15!)....
PS: The slightly lower spec. variant of this model (14-b003sa) with 4GB and 320GB SATA can be yours for £314 after discount and £267 after Quidco. Yes, that's £267 for an Ivybridge Ultrabook with SSD!!!! Its £430 @ JL and that's discounted! [great mini-review there too].

15% code worked for me :)
Same thing happened to me, I've just checked the Quidco help page and been directed to the following message: "Don’t worry - Hewlett-Packard always tracks in this way. This will update to the correct amount prior to the cashback being confirmed in your account."

"Thank you for your recent order from HP Store. Unfortunately we were unable to execute your order, either due to us being unable to verify all of your information, or that there was an error in processing your order. If you have already paid we have arranged for a refund for you and the details of how you will receive this are below........"
Paid using Credit Card, so there can't be any issue with the payment. It is absolutely utter nonsense.... The real reason must be that they don't have that model anymore and they trying to refuse the order.....
Just need to hope another good deal pops up!

Any thoughts on ENVY dv6 7200ea !!!!
Hi it comes to £495.12 + 99.02 vat = 594.14 on their order info. less quidco tracking at 12% 59.41 bring it down to 534.73.
I think it's good deal as comes with printer which costs about 45 quid on Amazon. I mean not bad for a laptop with i7, 1TB hdd, 8gb ram, etc.
