Yes really, I can only comment on my experience , I use an acer aspire switch 10 with basically same setup and have no issues at all !!!! so I stand by my comment, BTW I also have a Linx 7 with 1GB ram and that is sufficient oh yes it runs 8.1 as well.

You wouldn't be left with much. Windows requirements according to Microsoft are minimum of 16gb had and 1 gb to run and that's if this is 32 bit. Doesn't say. Assuming it is that only leaves 1 go for apps which is not a lot at all. And only 16 gb for storage which pitiful.

From experience, the latest atoms plus the latest Windows 8.1 performs exceptionally well, you won't be able to run SQL server and Photoshop will struggle, probably, but for a lot of people, these specifications should be fine.

At least these devices come with memory card slots, which can be used as additional storage, which is somewhat better than the biggest selling brand of tablet.
