Is this a better version than the HP PSC 1510 at Tesco priced approx £35?????
#2
I think it is better cause it prints slightly faster and has digital card reader plus the model number is higher.

£40 seems to be around the standard price for this printer at the minute, can be found at Amazon, Dabs.com and Argos all for the same price.

However the PC World price still works out slightly the better with the quidco and free delivery etc.

thanks OP, needed a new printer and my last HP All-In-One was excellent.

They vary. Approx £35-£40 for both Black and Colour together or around £25 for compatables.

If you use a printer for more than the odd bit of printing it is worth factoring in the cost of ink over a longer term. The reason manufacturers can give away printers at such cheap prices is because they know they will make money on the ink sales. My Brother all in one cost £50 a year ago, has been completely trouble free and cartridges cost £1.78 so its is a bargain to run.

Thanks for the pointer Evil Twin :)

I'd like to see you try and send a FAX with this!!!

It doesn't do faxes!

£39.00 direct from HP, so that must be typical I guess!

Forgot the real ink cartridges, they cost a fortune. Get a refill kit off ebay, which tend to be around 5 refills for £10. Maybe for a few colour photos you might want to get a genuine photo cartridge, but for everything else they work perfectly.

hey guys, dont forget the 6% Quidco for delvery, or 3% for collect in store

The prices are incorrect.

A quick look on mymemory shows that a black ink costs £10.49 and colour will cost £12.99. Postage is free on Ink and also they are original inks.

Thats makes a total of £23.48 delivered for a set of original ink cartridges.

And I've always found that HP ink always lasts longer then other printers.

If you go to the HP Home website and find the item its only £39.Then add the e-voucher SANTA and get a further 10% off plus free delivery. This takes the price down to £35.10p and still get it through Quidco. This is a real steal at this price.

Just picked mine up, very easy to set up, just make sure you get the USB Cable to connect it to your PC, currently 1/2 price in PC World also.

Can't complain at the price, very smart looking and miles ahead of any other printer I've had, the scanner and copier functions are a bonus!

Don't forget 4% Quidco = another £1.40 making this one of the best value printers from a top brand at the moment. :santa:

PCworld USB Cables would need to be half price and they'd still be expensive!!

PCworld USB Cables would need to be half price and they'd still be expensive!!

If you have a pound shop local (i know Poundland sell them) they probably have a cheap USB cable as good as the pc world cable. Otherwise loads on ebay:thumbsup:
