its not a six ink. It's a tri colour printer - which isn't a bad thing. You can get normal and XL cartridges for both black and colour. Get about 1100 black printers from a XL black! Very efficient.

Decent price. Cheapest i have seen it before was about the £79.99 mark. Warm Deal

Thanks - I thought it was a straight update ot the C5180 which comes with the 6 ink system and is slightly cheaper on Amazon at £69.02. I think perhaps this earlier model is a better buy...

I wish HP would use different numbering as I thought that too before finding out that the C5180 is the older model (as reviews dat back to early last year) and has 6separate ink cartridges and LAN connectable. The C5280 is appears to be alot newer (reviews from late last year) yet has no LAN connection and uses tri-ink colour cartridge. With the numbering you would think its an model revision.

As to deal Laskys have had it for £69.99 for some time so I guess Amazon have reduced to match. Handy as that means not only could get PCWorld to do 110% difference pricematch as they have Laskys on their list of valid websites but you know have amazon to check stock against too. Worth it since price in PCWorld is £129.99 so £66 reduction bringing it down to £63.99 at PCWorld.

It is a model revision, HP have largely reverted their consumer printer's to the tri-colour cartridges, which has really effected their sales. The C5280 is seen as the replacement to the C5180!

Bit of a step back then since the C5280 doesn't have ethernet LAN connectivity. Granted its alot cheaper but I still wouldn't see this as a model revision when both 6 separate ink and LAN have been removed in comparision to the model its meant to replace :(

And yes it hit sales by at least 1 as I went with a Pixma520 for £77 delivered LOL
