Excellent price and a genuine markdown. Cheapest I could find was £45.

I doublt if you have found this at £45 to be the cheapest !!!

The link you gave in your post for HP website has it clearly marked at 35 inc VAT and free delivery

You are right. Didnt check the HP price because I assumed it would be the most expensive there. £45 was the best price I found from other retailers. Cheers.
Another example of Tesco's misleading half price promotions.
I dont think its misleading prices. Manufacturers readjust their prices with new products on the shelves, but retailers like Tesco etc buy the item at a price and when the price drops overall in the market, then they re-adjust it by showing a price drop, hence it looks overhyped. Whereas at one stage the item was for the higher price in the market.
recommended - I think Leslie Grantham uses one too.
