damn good deal if you don't. I have a 17", i3 HP laptop with similar chasis and casing (albeit more powerful) and it's very well finished. Excellent battery life. Nice screen. £300 is a great price.

it would seem so, and therefore a top deal. I have a 3 year old Acer which qualifies for the £150 trade in.

Can't see that in the T&C:

In order to qualify, you must submit your application within 30 days of purchasing your product, by submitting an application you agree to these terms in their entirety.
The closing date for applications is 30.11.10. Any applications received after this date will be deemed invalid.
For your computer to qualify as “working” it must be fully operational:
Power on and have a working processor.
All accessories eg battery, mains adapter and lead, must be fully operational.
Desktops must be accompanied by all original accessories, including; leads, keyboard and mouse.
Must be undamaged (reasonable wear & tear accepted)
To qualify for the promotion you must send the following:
    A completed claim form.
A copy of your purchase invoice clearly detailing the purchase of your product and dated within the promotional period - despatch notes etc are not acceptable.
Applications will be screened for validity to ensure that the transaction made is a bona fide purchase of the qualifying product.
Your proof of purchase will not be posted back to you - please do not send the original.
The computer you wish to part-exchange, along with the original accessories, including mains adapter/lead.
If any of the items required to make your computer fully operational are missing from the valuation, you will receive a revised valuation by email.

Scroll? What is this scroll thing you speak of? :|

They say they'll contribute £10 towards the postage of your old laptop. Anybody know how this works? I've tried that scrolling trick without an answer :)

So you can use a laptop or a desktop under 4 years to get the £150 rebate......is that correct ?????

Eh, this looks like a fab deal. Seems you can send them pretty much any unit [working] as I can't see anything about 4 years. They don't ask for a copy of the receipt either (for your trade-in machine).

I have an old 160GB Dell 8400 (February 2005) base doing absolutely nothing but collect dust.

    Hmmm.
    grahawk
While it says four years on the IT247 site it is true that this is not mentioned on the claim site as far as I can tell.
