You will be lucky to run windows with 4gb ram let alone any programs!

Strange, my son has an i3 with 4GB of RAM and a 750Ti runs all games in 1080p at least 30fps no issues.

OP you need to show the price it costs which is £494.98 then state there's a trade in of up to £200

Good price considering the i7 is £300 alone anyway. Although if above comment is true then you're out of luck

Thankfully I could use this and put it through the business.

Anyone got experience with upgrading the ram/graphics card on these?

Seems like a good price for an i7

its only for if you're a business and you have to give them a computer to qualify.

You could be a one man business - many non business people have traded in before and had no problem, just make sure you follow the terms and conditions to meet the criteria. It is a very good deal IF you have something to trade in

That model only qualifies for the £150 trade in price if you manage to process the claim.

Well spotted, HP's page says exactly that for the small form factor

I've used the trade up to HP offer loads, the easiest route is to buy a tablet from ebay for circa £25-30.

It takes time, they drag it out to the fullest timescale available, but never any issues.

"For your Trade-in to qualify for the promotion it must be a working, complete and undamaged, (reasonable wear and tear accepted) Laptop (minimum 10” screen size), Tablet (minimum 9” screen size) or Desktop. Your Trade-in must be no more than 7 years old and complete with all accessories including working battery and power supply where applicable."

i7 6700 is proper quad-core 65W cpu
If you have a qualifying old machine and can meet the business requirement, looks hot to me.

This model qualifies for £200 according to HP:

Trade in must be less than 7 years old they say. My Samsung NC10's too old but still quite good deal if you have access to something to trade in for £200.00

That's interesting, doesn’t that mean either the description G3 SFF or the manufacturer part number is incorrect on ebuyer? Edit:- No the SFF G3 referred to W4A24ES is an i5 qualifying for the £150, so good spot OP.

I think you should add businesses only in the description pr change the price. I'm also guessing own builds wouldn't count for trade in otherwise how would they know how old it was?

The price is basically a lie, 200 quid IF you're a business and have a spare PC

put another 4gb stick next to it.

I have it a cold because I know for a fact that ebuyer will not let you return the item for any reason (unless you take to court ;) )

I have more ram on my graphics card

Agreed that the headline price should be changed. I went for this yesterday, 7 quid topcashback, picked the cheapest delivery and it's arriving tomorrow. If the trade-in works out then it's a bargain with the i7, ddr4 and ssd. It's not got great options for expansion due to the case size, but it does get good reviews.

What rot, I mean I have to disagree my good man, you can run Windows 10 on 2GB, not that you'd really want to, 4GB is more than enough for an average user, especially when you've got an SSD bunged in for good measure.

you can get a better spec machine for less money from other sites, unfortunately those other sites havnt paid hotukdeals to list on here so they keep deleting them

This is a steal if it's what you're looking for - obviously it's not intended to be a gaming machine, but the 6700 is a very good processor, 4gb of ram can be extended easily & cheaply, and 128gb ssd is enough for me, as it won't be 'storing' anything (just a headless processing server)

Don't worry too much about the business requirement - if they ask, you're a sole trader. I've used it before without any issues.

Was going to pick up a 2nd hand i5 sff business machine - was looking at £150 + ssd upgrade costs (and poss win 10 upgrade costs) - so this is a no-brainer for me.

I got mine from BT Shop, as there was a 'bundle deal' which included the extended HP 3-year warranty/service agreement for free.

Although that CPU combined with 4GB of ram is a bit like a Porsche with a Nissan micra engine.

I wonder if an 8 year old laptop will do? They would really check how old is?
#40
Jus Make up a name, its no big deal like John leak and son the plumbers, 8 year old laptops wont give you £200 though.
You could probably dual boot 7 and 10, 7 is a lot better on net - no adverts.
