I'd still rather buy a HP over a Dell!! They're simply not in the same league, hence the price.......

My mate purchased the dell, he said it ran much faster when he upgraded it to 2gb ram. He bought it as a 1gb(2x512mb), purchased a 2gb (2x1gb) on ebay and then sold the initial 1gb. he saved a lot doing it that way.

512Mb of RAM to run Vista is very poor IMO. I would recommend at least 1Gb if you plan on running Vista.
