tell me about it. I went to get the so called £1.24 T-cut offer but didnt find any. And the 25 pack maxell +r were £5.50 instead of £2.00:oops:

but this is definitely a bargain for those who can get one as they retail £59.99 & look beautoful

Were there quite a lot left at the Thornton Heath store?

Just been to Tesco at Ilkeston, they had 6 off these left on the shelf at the price stated by Montana78 HOT !!!!

Exactly what I have. Brilliant keyboard, comfy and the mouse is fantastic. Batteries last an age. The only fault I have is that it gives no indication if the caps lock in on or off, which can take a bit of guessing with passwords. That is made up for though by having some great touches such as the volume control and the caps-alt-delete as one button only. can't seem to get the web navigation buttons to work fully, but must admit to not being that interested in finding out why.

paid about £35 direct from HP about 8 months ago with the usual discount codes. Ay this price though, very hot

Got the last one in Milton Keynes (Kingston) shame HP do not give a data sheet on what the funnction keys do?

Has this set just got the standard 6 foot or so range?

I am looking for one with the 10 metre range. You can find plenty of mice with nano recievers and 10m range, but you don't see many keyboard/mouse combi sets.

I got one of these today! Went in for the HP 16GB mem stick but they were sold out!
I'm not sure it's the same one that's linked to the HP site though as mine came with a different mouse!
Heat added!
#15
One thing to note, the mouse is HUGE! I have big hands myself, yet have to reposition to use the scroll wheel!
Other than that, has a really premium feel to it! highly recommended!

I got one last night, maldon had a full shelf of them. It's perfect apart from the mouse does not register every click which is very frustrating. I'm using it about 40cm from the receiver too...

Hi - got one from kp tesco newcastle; got the keyboard working 15ft away, then i ran out of room. No written manual though - anyone know what the blue button on the keyboard is for?
#24
If your after Microsoft gear I posted this 8 months ago. http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/483346/microsoft-wireless-laser-desktop-ke if your lucky, it MAY still be available in some stores, though I would say call first to avoid a wasted trip!

It's to turn the power off on the keyboard, the mouse has an on/off switch on the bottom too.

Nice feature to save you wasting your batteries whilst not in use.

Any info on programing the keys on these?

Once you install the device drivers for the keyboard/mouse you can then program the keys to whatever you desire.

Yes the switch on the mouse makes perfect sense but the blue button above the number lock doesn't seem to be an on off switch - press it and it lights up but the keyboard still works; press it again and they keyboard still works - doesn't seem to do anything.

Maybe it is working but pressing any key is instantly re-activating the keyboard again. :)

Just found this on the HP site.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01608941.pdf

It seems the blue button is a battery monitor button, I'm guessing you press it to see how much power you have left in your batteries.
At the minute whenever I press it, it just shows a blue light, maybe when the batteries are getting low the light colour changes.

I just presumed it was an on/off switch like the mouse.

It has to be said, the standard of documentation included is very poor indeed which is strange considering just how good the product is and the price bracket it is supposed to be sold at.
#35
Thanks - you're more observant than me - I also found that pdf but missed the bit about the battery monitor - with the sort of level bars on the led bit that makes sense.
#36
Picked this up today in Kettering, plenty in stock.
#37
Got this today in the Tesco Hatfield Extra store... great price.

It looks great. Only one problem, my mouse is not "high-precision sensor provides precise, smooth and responsive tracking".

e.g. When drawing a straight line, it "wobbles" and moves up and down slightly. Any ideas how to fix this? I'm literally about 10-20cm (if that) away from the receiver and there shouldn't be any other wireless interference - as there's nothing else wireless near my computer!

Should I expect this (this is my first wireless mouse in a long time) or is everyone's mouse smooth and responsive as they say it should be?

Cheers all!
