I bought the awesome HP DV9702EA laptop from PC World today. I noticed this rather impressive docking station that it was sitting, then i saw the price and thought its got to be a misprice. I doubt the cost value would be <£50 alone. Needless to say i bought it, got it home and along with the very heafty base in the box was a retail packaged spare HP 90W AC adapter - which actually cost £29.99 to buy on its own. Googling tonight, it would appear that the XB3000 RRP is probably somewhere in the region of £130, with Amazon selling it for £86.52

Quiet simply if you have a HP laptop you simply must get this base.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago from the original post. Fantastic value for money - plugging in a single connector really is useful

Yes, it does come with a power supply. 90W one - just like the original one with the dv2535ea (which I also have thanks to a post in November on hot deals!)

The unit itself is larger than dv2535 - sure will hold at least a 17" screen. But is a really solid unit to support PC, has OK speakers within it - and lots of ports (which helps make up for original dv2535 only having 2 USBs).

Great buy - and fantastic price!

Your link goes to the HP US store. They obviously have a different package to us here in the UK.Lot pricier too it seems. The Pc World one has just the expansion base and AC power adaptor. Now only £19.99 by the way.I just ordered a second one for a friend.Great piece of kit at an amazing price.
